Join us as we unearth and open the time capsule buried for over 25 years ago. What secrets will be revealed ?

On the 3rd of Nov 2001, a snapshot of history was preserved when two time capsules were buried at Market Square.

The time capsule, was organized by local community groups and the council to commemorate 100 years of Australian Federation. 

On the 7th of November 2026, the Grafton community will commemorate this moment by unearthing the time capsuling and revealing its hidden treasures.

What to expect: Speeches from local Clarence Valley Council members, Grafton Jacaranda Royal Party members, a commemorative cake and a viewing of the artifacts placed in the capsule.
